Colourful Rajasthan Tour


Duration : 12 Nights / 13 Days.
Destinations : Delhi » Agra » Ranthambhore » Jaipur » Jodhpur » Jaisalmer » Jodhpur » Udaipur » Delhi.

This Tour Attempts to take you on a colorful journey through the most popular cities of Rajasthan!

Day 1 : Arrival Delhi.

Arrival at Delhi, pick up at the airport & check in at the Hotel.
Overnight at the Hotel


Day 2 : Full Day Sightseeing Of Delhi.

Morning visit Old Delhi- Red Fort built in 1648 by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan famous for his great edifice of love the Taj Mahal. Also see the biggest mosque in India the Jama Masjid, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1658. Take a Cycle Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk.
Afternoon see “New Delhi” also known as Lutyens Delhi, taking after the name of a British architect who designed the India Gate, Presidential House, Secratariat, Parliament Houseand many other buildings in that area.
Also Visit Qutub Minar & Lotus Temple. Evening back to the Hotel & overnight stay.


Day 3 : Delhi - Agra.

This morning leave for Agra which is 205 kms from Delhi and about a four hour drive. Reach Agra and check in at the Hotel. Proceed to visit the famous monument of love- the Taj Mahal. It has been describe d as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. The Taj Mahal is not open to visitors on Fridays.
Enjoy a Tonga Ride near the Taj Mahal.Tonga is a horse drawn carriage used as a mode of transport in the olden times. After lunch visit the Agra Fort which was built by Emperor Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 4 : Agra - Ranthambhore.
Morning leave for Ranthambhore (6 hrs by road) 
Visit Fatehpur Sikri en route. Check in at hotel, evening at leisure & overnight stay.


Day 5 : In Ranthambhore..

Do the early morning safari at 6.30 A.M at the Ranthambhore National Park with a Guide in a canter.
Ranthambhore National Park was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1957 and in 1974 it gained the protection of “Project Tiger”. 
Return to the hotel for a late breakfast and some free time till lunch.
Post lunch visit the Fort at Ranthambhore. A huge fort after which the park has been named towers over the hill. There are many ruins of bygone eras scattered all over the jungle, which gives it a unique, wonderful and mixed flavour of nature, history and wildlife.
Overnight stay at Ranthambhore.

Safari timings at Ranthambhore National Park:
6.30 A.M to 10.00 A.M in the morning. 
2.30 P.M to 6.00 P.M in the evening.


Day 6 : Ranthambhore - Jaipur by road (3 hrs journey).

After breakfast drive on to Jaipur (3 hrs by road) and check into the hotel.
Proceed to visit the famous Amber Fort and Palace which is a striking example of Rajput architecture situated on a hill side and overlooking a lake. Enjoy an elephant ride where you will be taken royally to the gates of the Fort. 
Afternoon visit the City Palace museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and an armoury of the Mughals and the Rajputs. Also visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory near the museum. 
Spend the evening at Chokhi Dhani, an authentic village complex on the outskirts of Jaipur.
Return to the hotel after dinner & overnight stay.

Day 7 : Jaipur sightseeing and then depart for Jodhpur.

Morning visit the landmark of the “Pink City” the Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds, built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch the processions passing in the street without being seen. Visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple built in Marble on Moti Doongri hilltop.
Also visit Albert Hall Museum containing a rare collection of decorative art objects, paintings, sculptures and the well known Persian Golden Carpet. 
Evening board a train to Jodhpur, departing at 5.00 P.M arriving at Jodhpur at 10.20 P.M. Our representative will receive you at the Railway Station and take you to your hotel.


Day 8 : Sightseeing at Jodhpur.

This morning visit Meherangarh Fort - one of the most impressive & formidable in the whole of fort-studded Rajasthan is situated on a high natural rock bluff and from which you can look down on the wonderful panorama of the bustling city below. Also visitJaswant Thada- an imposing white marble cenotaph built to commemorate the acts of bravery and generosity of the rulers in the 19th century.
Later drive on from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer( 4-5 Hrs), reach and check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 9 : In Jaisalmer

This morning visit the Palaces, Jain Temples and magnificent havelis, richly decorated and carved from golden yellow sandstone. Patwon- ki- haveli (house of the brocade merchants) is the largest and most elaborate havelis of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer is a tiny jewel in the heart of the Thar Desert which was the capital of the Bhatti Rajputs. Evening drive on to the Sam dunes where you will witness sunset while enjoying the camel ride. Overnight at the luxury tents at the dunes.


Day 10 : Jaisalmer to Jodhpur.

This morning visit the Gadisar Lake, the large natural oasis that attracted Rawal Jaisal to this site.
Also visit the Royal Cenotaphs of the Rawals in Barra Bagh where the rural were cremated. Early evening drive back to Jodhpur, overnight at a hotel in Jodhpur.


Day 11 : Jodhpur to Udaipur.

Drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur and visit the Ranakpur Jain temples en route. Visit the Jagdish Mandir at Udaipur and enjoy a boat ride on the picturesque Lake Pichhola. 
Evening at leisure, overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Sightseeing at Udaipur.

This morning proceed for sightseeing at Udaipur. Places of interest in Udaipur. 
Ahar - The ancient capital of sisodias, 3 Km from Udaipur, is a profusion of royal cenotaphs of the rulers of Mewar. 
Sajjan Garh - The monsoon palace offers a panoramic overview of the city's lakes, palaces and the surrounding countryside. 
Gulab Bagh - A spectacular rose Garden laid out by maharana Sanjjan Singh.
Overnight at a hotel in Udaipur.
Saheliyon Ki Bari - A Garden for the maids of honour with numerous fountains brings the unique life style of the royal ladies who once strolled here. 
City Place -  A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hills surrounded by walls.
Evening at leisure & overnight stay.


Day 13 : Udaipur to Delhi & Departure.

Morning at leisure, later take a flight back to Delhi. Pick up from the domestic airport and drop off at the International Airport for flight back home.
