Incredible India Tour


Duration : 28 Nights / 39 Days.
Destinations : Special attraction for Bagpackers and long time travel tourist.


Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi.

Arrive Delhi. On arrival, meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.


Day 2 : Delhi.

After breakfast, tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place shopping centre.
Overnight in Delhi.


Day 3 : Delhi.

After breakfast, visit the some part of Old Delhi as Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, later come back to your hotel and feel relax. Overnight in Delhi.


Day 4 : Delhi - Kathmandu (By Air).

Morning assistance for departure transfer to airport for flight to Kathmandu ( Approx. 2 hours Flight ). Arrival Assistance & transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.


Day 5 : Kathmandu.

Breakfast at the hotel and morning sight seeing Kathmandu city and Swyambhunath. And afternoon excursion to Patan. Overnight Kathmandu.


Day 6 : Kathmandu - Varanasi.

Assistance for departure and transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi. (Approx. 02 Hours Flight ) ( On arrival assistance and transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Varanasi.


Day 7 : Varanasi.

Early morning boat excursion on the river Ganges, a ferry pilgrimage from ghat to ghat. People bathe early in the morning to offer the prayers to the rising sun. The two cremation ghats are Manikarnika & Harishchandra where funeral pyre burns day and night. Every pious Hindu believes that to die in Kashi and to be cremated on banks of the Ganges is to attain release from the cycle of birth and death. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 8 : Manali - Shimla (270 kms / 8 hrs).

After leisurely breakfast, the day will be at leisure or take a visit to Varanasi temples and its culture. Check-out from the hotel and assistance for departure transfer to the railway station to board the train to Agra.Overnight in Train.


Day 9 : Agra.

Arrive in Agra, meet assistance at the railway station and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjahan in memory of her father.
Overnight in Agra.


Day 10 : Agra.

After breakfast, take a visit to the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjahan in memory of her father.And also visit Akbar’s Tomb called Sikandra which is 15 Km away from Agra, later come back to your hotel for the independent activities. Overnight in Agra.


Day 11 : Agra - Ranthambhore via Fatehpur Sikiri.

Breakfast at the hotel drive to Ranthambore ( 340 Kms / 7 Hours Drive ) visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Later you proceed for Ranthambore - the magnificent Tiger often gives audience to your astonished eyes, on arrival check-in at the hotel.
Overnight in Ranthambore.

Day 12 :Ranthambhore.

Early morning visit Ranthambore National Park which blends the history of Rajput valour with scenic natural beauty and is an ideal gateway for a splendid holiday at a wildlife destination. An incredible variety of wild life abounds this Park - The magnificent Tiger often gives audience to your astonished eyes. This park has large number of Sambhar, Chital Nilgai, Chinkara, Langur, Wild Boar and Peafowl and if you are lucky you will be able to spot a Tiger!
You will be surprised that every time you go to Jungle, there is something new to be discovered, the local fauna of the Park includes leopard, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, sloth bear and a little population of pythons.

Day 13 :Ranthambhore - Jaipur.

In the morning we drive towards Jaipur, on arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for your independent activities. Overnight in Jaipur.


Day 14 : Jaipur.

Breakfast at the hotel, later sightseeing tour of Jaipur and visit the City Palace is a visitors delight. Within the walls are several Palaces and museums resplendent with collections of the princely era. The Outdoor Observatory – the Jantar Mantar- built in 1726 by Jai Singh, a notable astronomer King. It houses instruments of astonishing accuracy, which give accurate predictions to this day. Drive to the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), a five story high Palace having a facade of windows and latticed screens which allowed the Ladies of the Court, in bygone days, to sit and view the streets of the city. 
Overnight in Jaipur.


Day 15 : Jaipur.

Breakfast at the hotel, and visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital Of the State.Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old.Also visit the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Later come back to hotel or see the culture of this Pink city which makes your tour interesting with the local sights.

Day 16 : Jaipur - Jodhpur.

Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and drive to Jodhpur where you will be met with the representative to assist checking into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Jodhpur.


Day 17 : Jodhpur.

The morning is reserved for a visit to the imposing Mehrangarh Fort. Also visit Jodhpur Fort, Jaswant Thada – The 19th century royal cenotaph, a creation in white marble, Clock tower – The timely treasure of Jodhpur Umaid Bhawan Palace. Come back to your hotel for independent activities.
Overnight in Jodhpur.


Day 18 : Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur.

In the morning, depart for Udaipur, stopping on the way for a memorable visit to the beautifully sculpted Jain temples of Ranakpur. Arrive in Udaipur and check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Udaipur.


Day 19 : Udaipur.

Breakfast at the hotel and take a city tour of Udaipur. The morning is earmarked for a comprehensive tour of this “City of Lakes.” The City Palace with its scalloped arches, the Saheliyon ki Bari Garden and the folklore museum where you can catch string puppetry at work are some of the major highlights of the day. Come back to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 20 : Udaipur - Mumbai (by air).

After breakfast meet assistance to take you to the domestic airport to catch a flight towards Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India’s truly cosmopolitan metro. On arrival, you will be met with and transferred to the hotel. In the tour of the city, take in the grandeur of the British-built arch Gateway of India, the Hanging Gardens and the affluent community of Malabar Hills, the Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat, later return to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure.
  

Day 21 : Mumbai.

Breakfast at the hotel, later take tour around Mumbai see the harbor, beaches, colonial buildings, gardens, ancient temples and film city, Marine Drive, and the Gandhi Memorial Museum. Return to the hotel for making your day at leisure.


Day 22 : Mumbai - Cochin (by air).

After breakfast, transferred to the domestic airport to catch a flight towards Cochin. On arrival in Cochin (now known as Kochi, Cochin is the perfect gateway to Kerala. As part of your tour to Cochin, visit many interesting tourist attractions) you will be met with and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of the Jewish Synagogue, St Francis church, and the Dutch Palace. In the evening enjoy a breathtaking moonlight cruise on the backwaters of Kerala aboard a spacious boat. After feasting on a mouth-watering South Indian culinary, get ready for some thrilling fireworks display on an island off the backwaters of Cochin, ending the evening on a perfect note.

Day 23 : Cochin - Agatti - Bangaram Island (by air).

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and board a flight to Agatti. Upon arrival, you will be taken to the hotel on boat to Bangaram Island. Check into the hotel, feel yourself comfortable. 
Overnight Bangaram Island.


Day 24 : Bangaram Island.

Swaying palm trees, pristine beaches and a charming ambience distinguish the beautiful Bangaram Island. A perfect place to relax and commune with nature, the Bangaram Island is simply an experience beyond words. Spend some quality time at the beach besides indulging in a fine range of water sporting activities. Choose from a whole range of beach activities besides indulging in some sightseeing around the island.


Day 25 : Bangaram Island.

Spend a memorable day on the beach or simply explore the island that is truly a wonderful place to discover. Also drench yourself in a fine range of water sporting activities that is sure to send your adrenaline racing. Overnight in Bangaram Island.


Day 26 : Bangaram - Agatti - Cochin (by air) - Appelley (by air).

This morning drive to to the Agatti Airport to board the flight for Cochin. Arrive in Cochin and drive to Alleppey. The distance between the two towns in about 180 km and will take around 5 hours time to reach by road. Check-in to a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) and enjoy a cruise along the famous backwaters of Alleppey-Kumarakom. Spend the next 24 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life from a close quarter. Enjoy the sunset and stay overnight on the houseboat. The stay includes all three meals i.e. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will definitely be a unique and unforgettable experience for your lifetime.

Day 27 : Appelley - Kovalam (180 km - 5 hrs).

Check-out of the houseboat and proceed towards Kovalam. Check-in at the already booked hotel at Kovalam. The rest of the day is kept for a leisure trip at the Kovalam Beach. Overnight in Kovalam.


Day 28 : Kovalam.

Morning The day of your tour is scheduled for a sight seeing trip of Thiruvananthapuram covering Museum Complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science and Technology Museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. Overnight in Kovalam.


Day 29 : Kovalam - Trivandrum - Delhi.

Our representative will meet you and drive to Trivandrum to catch your flight back to Delhi as per schedule, thus signaling the end of your Backwater and Beach Delight Tour.
